HIPAA Readiness Status

Last updated: August 29, 2026

Do not upload PHI at this time.

Technical privacy controls are present, but HIPAA use must wait until required Business Associate Agreements, eligible Supabase HIPAA and High Compliance configuration, operational safeguards, and legal or compliance approval are all confirmed in writing.

MomentA has not yet verified that this deployment is ready to receive, store, or process Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA. This page is a readiness disclosure, not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

1

Current status

HIPAA compliance has not been certified or independently verified for this production deployment. A Supabase Pro subscription by itself does not establish HIPAA readiness, and MomentA is not currently presenting this page as a Notice of Privacy Practices.

2

Technical controls in the application

The application includes private file storage, signed file access, role- and child-scoped database policies, authenticated accounts, and audit records for selected actions. These controls support privacy, but technical features alone do not satisfy every HIPAA administrative, physical, contractual, and operational requirement.

3

Required before PHI use

Before any PHI workflow is approved, MomentA and participating organizations must confirm applicable Business Associate Agreements, Supabase HIPAA eligibility and High Compliance settings, multi-factor authentication requirements, backups and recovery, transport and network controls, access review, audit-log retention, incident response, workforce procedures, risk analysis, and legal or compliance sign-off.

4

Pilot guidance

During testing, use fictitious or de-identified information only. Do not add diagnoses, treatment records, assessments, clinical notes, insurance information, or other identifiable health information until an authorized MomentA representative confirms PHI use is approved.
